Prior to the event we kept in contact with the RRA through teleconferences, held meetings, planning our roles for the summit, gathered needed items, requested and received funding from the SA, organized transportation to and from the event for our peers, created a blog to document our journey and made a presentation and Kahoot for the event.

The Rural Recreation and Mental Health Summit took place in Smiths Falls Ontario. During the event we had the pleasure of running an icebreaker, introducing the topic of Mental Health through a interactive trivia game, spoke about the Do it for Daron movement and asked for recommendations to improve the summit for the following year.  While we were there, we networked with professionals from the field and opened up the conversation about recreation and mental health.
